To maximise returns at harvest, you need IFRLogger

Now logmakers can describe stems using an electronic calliper – your company’s product list and market priorities are preloaded into IFRLogger.

The IFRLogger applies this information to calculate the best log mix resulting in maximum value for your company. The logmaker marks the stem where the IFRLogger indicates ready for bucking.

A real plus when using the technology is that production information stored in the IFRLogger is downloaded to a central database, allowing summarised reporting of log volume production by crew and region.

The system also allows you to customise reports to give Managers real control of their area of accountability for specific forest activities.

Know what’s happening in your forest

Wood flow planners can investigate the impact on value by applying the "what if" to evaluate other potential log mixes – enabling you to realise the best value for your estate.

With Internet access and a web browser, forest managers are relieved of the need to manage databases and are assured that their data is secure.

With this flexibility, managers can access information from anywhere in the world.

Any time, any where with full security

IFR Technologies professionally manage systems, applications and databases on behalf of clients. This enables you to focus on what you do best – managing the forest asset.

We provide full training, installation and support to your business, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The working IFRLogger system

1. Log product list, priorities and reference data stored in a central database. Information is pre-loaded on to IFRLogger tools.

2. IFRLogger optimises the stem information.

• Logmakers use IFRLogger to describe stems: sweep, diameters and quality.

• IFRLogger applies log product list and priorities to the description to produce the optimal log solution.

3. Information can be relayed back to the database and software applications via several communication mediums to suit your business and timeframe.

4. Production reports are then generated and operations adjusted as necessary to meet market demand. Harvest operations are fully transparent in relation to crew performance.

• Enabling Managers to oversee all operations from a central point or remotely via secure Internet access.

5. Fine-tune crew instructions and investigate market opportunities by reassessing stem descriptions with alternative cutting plans.

6. IFRLogger will integrate with IFRLogtrack and your company’s existing systems.
